Anatomy of a Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo
I love Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos. When I was younger I worked at a little mom & pop pet shop with exotic birds and these were one of my favorites. Sulphur-Crested toos are so full of personality and just lovable goofballs. I hope you enjoy this illustration!

I was doodling today and liked how this little Sun Conure bird drawing came out 🙂 My little Sun Conure is going to be 17 years old this year, I can’t believe time is going by so quickly! Still as beautiful as ever.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood

By |March 2nd, 2015|

Could you be mine
Won’t you be my neighbor

These lyrics sound familiar? If you’re a product of the 80’s, you might have watched Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood on PBS in the mornings. It was a great show with good messages without being overly […]

By |February 26th, 2015|

So about a week ago, I decided to try a Lemon Meringue Tart recipe. I made the dough (simple enough), the lemon curd the night before and all that was left was the meringue part. Well to make this Italian meringue, I had to heat up sugar and a bit water to a soft ball […]
